\u201cspiralize the outer contour,\u201d which is also known as \u201cVase mode\u201d or \u201cVase mode,\u201d and <strong>It is mainly used for 3D printing vases.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Spiral printing the outer contour first prints all the lower layers of the base (of the 3D model) and then begins printing a single wall, moving upward along the Z-axis in a spiral pattern until it reaches the top.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This special curing mode saves material and time because it uses <strong>a single wall<\/strong> spiral-shaped <strong>and 0% filler<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Enable \u201cSpiralize Outer Contour\u201d in Cura<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In Cura's print settings, go to \u201cSpecial Modes\u201d and enable \u201cSpiral Outer Contour.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This configure the necessary settings to ensure a successful 3D print.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you have your STL file ready for printing, use the following settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(<strong>The following settings are not waterproof<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Coat length<\/strong>: (whichever one you want)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Line width<\/strong>: 0.4 (can be increased to 0.6 with a 0.4 mm nozzle)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wall thickness<\/strong>: 0.8 mm (Can be increased to 1.2 mm with a 0.4 mm nozzle)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Upper layers<\/strong>: 0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lower layers<\/strong>: 4<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Speed<\/strong>: between 30 and 50 Enabled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Things to Keep in Mind<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The printed models will be fragile, since they will have only a single wall.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liquids can seep through the sides, so they wouldn't work as vases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can print one model at a time, since the nozzle makes a single continuous movement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also make other items, such as small organizers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Can Be Printed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p
